About Acadia Foods

Located at 228 W Acadia Ave, Winston-Salem, NC 27127, Acadia Foods operates as an asian grocery store serving Winston-Salem in North Carolina. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Google also lists it under deli, restaurant, which is worth knowing if you are comparing several options in the area.

Store size varies enormously, from a small corner grocery with a few aisles to a full supermarket chain location in Winston-Salem with a bakery, seafood counter and food court under one roof. Sales and promotions are often posted in-store or in a weekly flyer rather than online, so prices listed on a website may be out of date. Seafood markets sell live and on-ice product and can usually clean or prepare fish on request for a small fee. Specialty food stores in North Carolina may focus narrowly on one category, like a butcher, a rice and dry goods shop, or an import store, so calling ahead to confirm stock for a specific item saves a wasted trip.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. The most common schedule is 8 am–8 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (336) 331-3251. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, acadia-foods.com.

Customers rate it 4.7 out of 5 on Google across 493 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded asian grocery stores in Winston-Salem.

Winston-Salem is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Winston-Salem follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Had a doctor appointment at Wake Forest Baptist. Yelped for nearby restaurants and found Acadia Foods. What a find! The best sandwiches I've had in a long time! The collard green melt (with bacon) and the cauliflower melt (with tempeh) were outstanding. And the crispy potatoes were delicious, not greasy, crispy on the outside and dusted with a yummy spice mix. Dipped in some green and red Mexican sauces made them even better. And the fresh herby pasta salad was super. The venue is very cozy, and the staff is friendly. Plus the have a food cooparket of locally grown vegetables and healthy/organic/eco-friendly provisions. Can't wait to go back.

Acadia Foods is an absolute gem! The atmosphere has such a warm, welcoming vibe that makes you want to relax and stay awhile. I ordered the vanilla latte, and it was absolutely delicious (smooth, flavorful, and perfectly made). Even though I'm not a vegetarian, I decided to try the cauliflower melt, and it completely exceeded my expectations. It was incredibly flavorful, satisfying, and one of the best sandwiches I've had in a long time. After this experience, I can't wait to go back and try another sandwich! I was also impressed by the wide variety of vegetarian options on the menu. Whether you're vegetarian or just looking to try something different, Acadia Foods has so many tempting choices. I highly recommend stopping by!

My husband and I stopped in on our way to a trip to bike the Riverwalk in Danville. This was a good halfway point. The food was delicious! As a vegan I was so happy that I had a couple of different choices for lunch that all sounded wonderful! My husband eats meat and he really enjoyed his food as well. It was so good we made it a point to stop on our way back from our trip. The women serving us we're so lovely and kind! I will definitely be back with my daughters. They live in Raleigh and this will be a good meet up point for us.

Great find for brunch and coffee. Was pleasantly surprised to see so many veg and vegan options. Was all delicious - especially the mushroom scramble and collard melt. Seating can be limited at peak times.

Good place, it had already been recommended to me and yes, one day my beautiful wife and I decided to stop by and try it. Honestly, I liked it. I ordered a pastrami sandwich and she ordered another delicious sandwich as well. We both loved it. I recommend it. Good atmosphere. In the mornings it is a bit busy, but even so, the wait time was very good.
